Follow these easy steps below need to access the Optima Health registration page if you are a NEW MEMBER:

  • Visit: this link on your device.
  • Click on the “Get Started” button.
  • Select your plan type such as:
    • Medicaid
    • Medicare
    • Individual and Family
    • Employer / Group
    • Not Sure
  • Click on the “Activate your Account” located under the “Register” section and a new window should open.
  • Type in your Member ID in the field provided.
  • Type in your name in the fields provided.
  • Input your date of birth in the fields provided.
    • All members (except Medicare) enter either:
      • Last four digits of your SSN
        Medicaid ID# for Optima Family Care Members
    • Optima Medicare Members Only:
      • Type in your Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) or Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN) in the field provided.
  • Click on the “Continue” button.
  • Continue to move forward and provide all the required information until you receive your registration confirmation.

If your registration has been completed successfully, you will be forwarded to your account details when you can then start to manage or review your account details.

  1. Visit: on your device.
  2. Click on the “Manage My Plan” link located under the “Optima Health Members” section.
  3. Click on the “sign in to” link.
  4. Type in your username in the field provided.
  5. Type in your password in the field provided.
  6. Begin managing your current account.

Follow these easy steps below if you are a current member that needs to make payment to a current account online:

  1. Visit: on your device.
    1. You will find that the first option available to make payment is to go online. (You will be able to set up a one time or set up a recurring payment.)
    2. You can make payment over the using the automated attendant by calling 1-888-645-4306. You will need to have a copy of your monthly billing statement available. Or you can call 757-687-6434 or 1-888-737-5479 and select option 2 to pay by phone and speak with a live Optima Health representative.
    3. You may make payment with cash using MoneyGram. There is no fee required to use this service. If you want to visit a MoneyGram location, take cash to pay your premium, bring your Optima Health member ID number, and be ready to provide the receive code which is: 15084.
    4. You may make payment by mailing in a check, cashiers check, or money order. You will need to include your payment, along with the payment stub from your monthly bill, to: P.O. Box 75892, Baltimore, MD 21275-5892. Please NOTE: your payment must be received by the last day of the month.
