Anthem and Walmart have collaborated together to begin offering better access to every day health related products and over the counter products as of January 2019. Eligible members of Anthem’s affiliated Medicare Advantage plans will receive an OTC card that can be used to access savings and buy certain over-the-counter drugs and many health related items.

Today, they also offer their eligible members access to a free and secure online savings program management tool called Healthy Benefits Plus. The online portal allows members to perform the following tasks:

  • Search and Find locations where members can shop in person by using the Store Finder feature. Whenever members are done shopping and are ready to check out, they simply use their member card or use the mobile app barcode when checking out. They will see the savings applied immediately.
  • Explore Their Benefits Online or by using the Mobile App. They will find their account balance listed at the top of the Offers page or in the My Account tab.
  • Browse Eligible Products Online or by using the Mobile App. Members simply use the Categories list or the Search Bar.
  • Order Online at www.Walmart.com. When members are ready to checkout, all they need to do is type in their card number and select a preferred delivery method. They can choose to have the items shipped to a home address or select the convenient pickup in-store option!
  • They may also have access to the Fresh Product Discounts & Rewards Program also called Fresh Produce Perks but will need to verify with their provider if they are eligible.
